Finally.....I am now in Adelaide, South Australia. I departed from Jakarta on 28 January 2009 at 8.45 pm and arrived at Sydney Airport at 7.50 the next day. Everything was ok.....before departed from Jakarta, I felt a litle bit worry and affraid because I traveled alone, no one accompanied me at that time and honestly that was my first International Flight. Fortunately, everything went smooth, nothing really matter, not even the customs....things what my friends always remind me to be careful about it. My lugages automaticaly transfered to Adelaide airport so I didnt need to collect and declare them in Sydney.....Good for me, cos I didnt need to carry them on my way to domestic flight terminal, which is so far from international arrival terminal.
at 12.10, I arrived in Adelaide and didnt need to go to customs because I have declared my declared items. One big guy has been waiting for me outside, I knew hin because he took my name on a white board and once I saw him I went there and say "Hallo....I'm Reliana, and he Greets me....and took me to my temporary accomodation address. The worse thing I found about Adelaide at the first sight was the weather.....what a horrible summer.....the temp was 45 celcius degree at that time and below 20% of humidity....so dry....of course....Adelaide is the driest city in the driest country as well as the driest continent in the world......no wonder....
However, overall....the city is so beatiful. the parks, the buildings are fantastic...especially the Uni Adelaide campus....bagus banget booo.....bangunan kunonya keren...kaya difilm Harry potter...seriously....When I, for the first time, went to North Terrace campus to meet ALO the first thing I did was took a picture of that buildings.....Hopefully I will be happy to study here for the next 1.5 years......yaa 1.5 half year.....
